Sept 18th + Sunday Selfies

I am joining a September Challenge and today’s question is about my teen years, which weren’t that long ago. Here is the link if you want to check it out and/or maybe join in, too.

Did you like to roller skate? Did you go to a skating rink or did you skate on the sidewalk/street at home? If you went to the skating rink, did you spend more time skating or socializing?

These questions are very strange. I thought skating rinks were where human played hockey…. as I understand it, those skates have blades, not rollers. Furthermore, we are not allowed to play in the street because the staff would freak out.

Our skateboard has rollers. Does that count? M and I like to play with that in the family room.

      4. Cousin Quark says they don’t have those, so Mom is thinking of getting them skates for Christmas…. Um, Quark is a bit of a klutz, but Boson is a true athlete. Mom says that’s probably because Quark’s wings were clipped when he was a baby, while Boson, who is 5 years younger, never had his wings clipped. >^.^<

      6. The breeder clipped his wings – we don’t know why, except it was probably more convenient for her.
        Quark & Boson’s mom & pop are both science majors. – A quark is an elementary particle and a fundamental constituent of matter. Quarks combine to form composite particles called hadrons, the most stable of which are protons and neutrons, the components of atomic nuclei…. As per Boson, in quantum mechanics, a boson is a particle that follows Bose–Einstein statistics. Bosons make up one of the two classes of particles, the other being fermions. 😉

  10. Lovely selfies on wheels. Peeps here doesn’t do things with wheels that are too small, far prefers car size ones, says they are safer. And to be fair, I’ve seen peeps ice skates and roller skates and it is not a pretty or safe sight! purrs ERin

  11. Ya’ll look really cute on your skateboard. Mommy says dat you’re talkin’ ‘boiut ice skatin’, but roller skatin’ is a different thing. She used to luv to rollerskate. We’s never seen her do it, but she’s not very graceful these days so maybe dat’s a good thing.
