Wordless Wednesday

Dear Friends,DSC_0003-1

Saphera wanted to show off her Easter gifts for Wordless Wednesday….. I’d assumed the Easter Bunny was a regular size bunny, but he gifted her one of his prize carrots, so I’m now wondering if he’s big as an elephant!!!

Marbles

Dear Friends,20170422_113156

Have you ever wondered how marbles were made? I have because Purrseidon LOVES round things like balls and marbles, so I frequently watch her playing soccer and when the toy of choice is a marble, I always wonder how it was made… and why she can’t sit still and gaze at the amazing thing. Well, today, I discovered this informative 7 minutes on youtube, so now I know how they were made…. but I still would purrfer to gaze at them rather than smack them about.

I am joining a September Challenge and today’s question is about my teen years, which weren’t that long ago. Here is the link if you want to check it out and/or maybe join in, too.

What was your favorite kind of car when you were young? Did you ever get to have one of your own?

Car? I’ve never considered wanting a car of my own, but I’m very fond of my boogie board and boat.

Did you like to roller skate? Did you go to a skating rink or did you skate on the sidewalk/street at home? If you went to the skating rink, did you spend more time skating or socializing?

These questions are very strange. I thought skating rinks were where human played hockey…. as I understand it, those skates have blades, not rollers. Furthermore, we are not allowed to play in the street because the staff would freak out.

Our skateboard has rollers. Does that count? M and I like to play with that in the family room.

Sunday Selfies

Dear Furiends,

Did you wonder what I was sitting on this past Friday? Well, this basket is where I keep my catnip toys (and where I once was dumb enough to put M’s silvervine stick)…  Ehem, I’m trying to get past that incident. I’m also trying to organize my toys, so I now have my ball collection in an Easter basket, which I claimed (it’s much larger and many of my balls are nice and big, too).

I put my catnip toy collection in this old Christmas basket, and now can easily find the one/s I want. Otherwise, the sneaky things tend to end up on the bottom.

Ms. Ellen of 15andmeowing made these  – and many others in my collection… She makes the very best toys, so today, M and I are doing selfies with a few of our favorite toys from Ms. Ellen.

Have a Meowser of a day!

Ellen’s Yarn Toys

P1160364.JPG

Ellen sent Purrseidon and Mr. M some of her yarn creations. THANK YOU, ELLEN!

P1160367.JPG

Purrseidon highly approves of the toys loves the purple fishie and the wine cork wrapped in blue yarn. If I can judge Mr. M’s covert playing with Ellen’s creations, he, too, loves them. Unfortunately, the dear old guy is still holding a grudge about getting muddy and being bathed … and he is not speaking to me – yet. However, he was caught in a candid shot, so what do you think?
