I am joining a September Challenge and today’s question is about my teen years, which weren’t that long ago. Here is the link if you want to check it out and/or maybe join in, too.

What was your favorite kind of car when you were young? Did you ever get to have one of your own?
Car? I’ve never considered wanting a car of my own, but I’m very fond of my boogie board and boat.
I bet that boogie board and boat are a blast!
Thanks for playing along. Have a wonderful day. 🙂

It is great fun and so nice on a hot day … Mr. M refuses to believe that, so I’m purticularly glad you can appreciate the fun. >^.^<

One thing that I’ve wanted to be able to do for the longest time is jetski, but 1. I don’t have a jetski and 2. I don’t know how to swim. So, I can just sit back and enjoy the photos of you having water fun. 🙂

Ooooooohhhh!!! I’ve seen jet-skis and they look super fun, but oh, the sound hurts my ears, so I’ve never considered trying to get a ride on one. I learned to swim in the tub, purrhaps you could start learning there. >^.^<

The jet skis are pretty loud. We’d need a much bigger bathtub for me to learn to swim in. 🙂

Oh, well, if you want to learn to swim badly enough, a way will become available … the kitchen sink was too small (and too controversial) for me to learn in, too. >^.^<

After a near drowning when I was a young teen, learning to swim is probably last on my list of things to do. I don’t want to be in the water that badly. I still think jet skiing would be fun, but it would be a foolish endeavor since I don’t know how to swim. I am glad you found a way to learn to swim. That is a good thing for you to know considering where you live.

Mom thinks my water obsession might be genetic because my littermate drown when she was just over 3 weeks old. That put my parents in a panic, so I was officially adopted when I was 4 weeks old, even though they’d originally planned to wait 2 more weeks… >^.^<

Aww I am sorry that you lost your brother or sister. 😦 I am glad that you were able to find a safe and fun home in which to live. 🙂

She was my sisfur, and my mom wasn’t very purrtective …. I was the only survivor…. >^.^<

Aww that is very sad. I am very glad that you survived. Some of the kitties that have come along to our home haven’t been very protective of their babies, either. They abandon them when they are sick. I don’t understand that either. It’s a hard life for a little kitty.

That’s what my brofur is always telling me, but I don’t remember being anything but a house cat. In fact, I don’t remember my real sisfur or my mom at all… we moved to FL when I was little… I do remember the awful squirrels in the huge trees, though. >^.^<

Try not to think about the squirrels. Maybe when you start worrying about the squirrels, try to think about something else, something that you like, perhaps having fun on your boogie board.

It’s really difficult not to think about them when you see them hop down the neighbor’s tree and flick their tail at you.

I can understand. There’s something pretty bad that I try not to think about, too, but it is always around to torment me. I’m sorry these squirrels are that way for you.

And you keep away from that awful snake!!!! >^.^<

Thankfully they captured the King Cobra and it is back in its cage. We just still haven’t found the chicken snake that is here in the house somewhere. It is very good at hiding. But, I will be okay. You stay safe, too. 🙂

Mr. M can disappear for days. He has amazing stealth powers. So GLAD that horrid snake was captured!!! >^.^<

Me, too, and I hope it was a boy King Cobra. Can you imagine if it was a girl snake and maybe she had babies out there somewhere? Terrifying thought, 20-40 new King Cobras on the loose.

Oh meow is me!!!! What a horrible thought! In the Everglades, there are all sorts of problems with other kinds of snakes that got loose…. I think those are just as scary – if not worse – than squirrels. >^.^<

I imagine so! And, there are alligators there, too, like here. Exciting, but scary. Have a great weekend. 🙂

Did you know that alligators can climb trees?!? IF one comes at you, run just as fast as you can in a straight line… they aren’t good for long distance. >^.^<

I don’t know if I knew they could climb trees (thanks for the warning!), but they can ring doorbells. That is both funny and scary. Can you imagine going to answer the door and seeing an alligator there?

That would be horrifying!!! >^.^<

Yes, it would. Let’s hope they never learn to talk and say, “Avon calling” when the house occupant says, “Who is it?” before they open the door!

What? You’ve never wanted a car of your own. How strange. We’ve been trying to figure out how many pieces of kibble we need to save to pay for our own set of wheels. Well, that’s just an expression. We want the rest of the car too.

Around here, the bus is free, it’s just a few blocks from home… no fuss about finding parking spots, etc. Don’t you have a good bus system? >^.^<

We don’t have any bus system!

One of the things I love about living here is the free bus system. Only problem is that they are often a bit late and you can only bring on whatever you can carry… I can’t carry my boogie board….. >^.^>

I bet you would love to have a boat.
