20191110_1730481. If you want something, you have to make a plan for how you want to get it.

2. During the month of August, I plan to avoid the worst of the heat and humidity.

3. Others might think it’s strange that I love water and water sports.

4. Christmas seems so far away.

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, wise Purrseidon! Like you, we’re trying to avoid the August heat. Have you been doing a lot of water sports to stay cool? Purrs!

    1. Meowser Ms. Lorianne, our backyard pool is used most days…. Except by Saphera, who makes too much of a mess. Are you having a good time and managing to stay cool?

  2. Answering for my cats:
    1. If you want _treats_, you have to _behave (or discover where they’re hidden)_.

    2. During the month of August, I plan to cuddle with humans but not the other cat.

    3. Others might think it’s strange that I love French fries.

    4. Mealtime seems so far away.

    1. Meowser BellaDharma dear furiend, I only was able to watch on TV …. clouds can be such pesky things.
Can you imagine how much fun it would be to fly to that big red litterbox?!?

  4. Purrseidon my furiend,
Our answers are very similar, except for the water thing. Alberto seems to like water but I would just as soon avoid it. And when it comes to heat, I think my whining about the heat here in my neck of the woods in Northern Idaho can’t hold a candle to the heat you guys have!

I am looking forward to some cozy fireplace time at Christmas and the rest of the winter.

    1. Oliver dear furiend, we don’t have an indoor fireplace, but the outdoor pot thingy gets hotter than our weather (currently 94F) …. I am scratching my ear and trying to understand why you don’t like summer heat, but do like that fireplace… Can’t quite understand the logic in that.

    1. Meowser Ms. Sandee – Kosmo lives way up in Finland, so he tends to worry and doesn’t understand that I not only have a very sturdy home, but that it is in a purrtected place.

    1. Kosmo dear brofur, have no worries. the only annoyance I anticipate is extra rain and a couple days with strong wind gusts. By strong, I mean that on Sunday weather.com anticipates winds between 30-35 mph for my zipcode….. My house was built to withstand 150 mph and was successfully tested in 135 mph winds, so I have no worries and look forward to watching the storm-show.

      1. Meowser Kosmo dear brofur. Hurricanes always take time to come, so we have days to purrpare… My best nip is in pots so it can be brought in indoors, but that won’t be necessary for this puny storm. The worst damage we have gotten is from the 135 mph winds – lost a lime tree and a branch from one of the mangoes, which actually made it more fun to climb.
