Ms. Crystal, my surrogate mom is a husky, so I don’t mind dogs. In fact, many are furiends. However, I think we cats are special since the king is one of us.

They soak up water like sponges! When they were kittens, they had a medical issue that resulted in lots of diarrhea. Diarrhea + long butt floof = yucky butts that required at least one bath a day to clean the kittens up. They hated it, I hated it, and they still are resistant to any suggestion of immersion or possible immersion in water!
Meowser, I would love a bath a day! As is, we’re only allowed one a week. Actually, except for the medical issues, they sound like Mr. M…. You’ve never seen a more pitiful cat than when he was wet. Katsu and I don’t look much different when we are sopping wet.

Too bad the fun parts weren’t filmed, a.k.a. the water sports, but they do look remarkably like mini Mr. M when their fur is wet…. I’m still thinking it is the love of water could have something to do with fur texture.

Makes sense to me Jeanne. It takes the kitty boys a long time to dry off, even if you use a hair dryer on them, because their hair clumps together so bad.
These are all great- especially the last one 🙂

Andy and Dougy remind me of Mr. M…. he never approved of my boogy board or water sports, either.

Oh, Mr. Doug, you should let Andy and Dougy give them a try! Katsu doesn’t love swimming quite as much as I do, but he’s purrty good.
