It’s always fun to watch the moon, i was given a love of watching eclipses by a friend of my mother who let me stay up late and see it one night.

  2. Thank you, we have to remember that. Years ago I saw lunar eclipse when driving a car to work, it was early morning, dark and the moon just in the middle of my windshield. It was great to follow the whole “show”. I will never forget that morning.

      1. I have wondered in my mind many times what people thought when they didn’t know these systems. Suddenly the sun is turning black and all the light disappears, even birds stop to sing… the end of the world, what else. Have you heard of the star shower in Lissabon, Portugal. The sky was full of flying stars. They seemed to falling down. I have seen an old drawing of it.
