Sunday Selfies

Dear Furiends, purrmicroscope

Since my brofur is blogging about science so much, I decided to do today’s selfie with my microscope2microscope…. Orange is my favorite color and it is just the purrfect height see?

And here is a bridge abutment selfie – do you see how tenderly it is caring for that baby  tree?

I have also enlisted the assistance of Master Munchkin to take a photo of the back of my head…. our dear brother, who lives in Finland, commented on a previous blog that he had never seen the coloring of my back.P1200105.JPG

Master Munchkin, who is one of my bestest friends, also wanted to share this claw that we found at the beach:P1200205.JPG

Dear Furiends,

For today’s selfie I am modeling the antlers Ms. Munchkin gave me. I think I look great… and I’m very happy this getup didn’t come with a light-up nose, because I am certain my night vision is adequate. (Antlers are easier to balance than my Santa hat, but I love that, too…. Truth is I simply love playing dress-up.)15356060_847070632062729_1194799296_n

M agreed to do a selfie, as long as he didn’t need to move, so this is the result:

As usual, since a camera was involved, Saphera vanished.

Have a wonderful week, my furiends!

AND, my friend, Ms. Froggy was hanging out on the door fame… Aren’t her eyes amazing?!? AND if that isn’t enough, take a good look at her incredible toes.

Dear Furiends,

Today, I’m sharing a couple more photos of my purrsonal project pond/waterfall. I also talked my dear brofur into agreeing to purrticipate AND I managed to get a photo of a bunny, who squeezed under my fence. Unfurtunately, I didn’t get a chance to introduce myself to him/her before s/he ran away.

I have no idea why that bunny is so skittish.

The good news is that the horrid squirrels seem to be done with my purrsonal oak tree, so I’ve reclaimed it!!!!p1200034

This is a purrsonal victory!!!

Down with acorn-stealing squirrels!

Er, back to the reason for this post. It is part of The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. You can see what some of our furiends are doing this weekend by clicking on their link.

p1200020 Now for the purromised photos of Mr. M,  who was caught relaxing after a hard day of looking for typos in our up-coming novel, Me-YEOW! (Psst, my photo is on the cover!!!! It’s good that those squirrels have been vanquished from my favorite tree, because I’m over the boughs that Ms. Kiara included my photo.)

& here is the ‘selfie’ of the shy bunny: p1200032

at least I got a photo of that bunny – it is more than I can say for Saphera – she seems to have developed the ability to sense a camera’s presence as effectively as she does a stranger — and she hides. You would not believe how effectively something her size can hide, unless you tried to find her!

At least my pool can’t run away:P1200003.JPG

Have a wonderful week, my furiends!

Dear Furiends,

Did you wonder what I was sitting on this past Friday? Well, this basket is where I keep my catnip toys (and where I once was dumb enough to put M’s silvervine stick)…  Ehem, I’m trying to get past that incident. I’m also trying to organize my toys, so I now have my ball collection in an Easter basket, which I claimed (it’s much larger and many of my balls are nice and big, too).

I put my catnip toy collection in this old Christmas basket, and now can easily find the one/s I want. Otherwise, the sneaky things tend to end up on the bottom.

Ms. Ellen of 15andmeowing made these  – and many others in my collection… She makes the very best toys, so today, M and I are doing selfies with a few of our favorite toys from Ms. Ellen.

Have a Meowser of a day!

Sunday Selfies

closetDear Furiends,

Due to time constraints, I am combining a staff meeting with Sunday selfes… Busy, busy, running a household, being a writer’s muse, and overseeing the training of munchkins, so please ignore the mirror’s reflection of the elbow.

Time will tell if my staff can learn from their mistakes….  I’m still paying for my mistake of hiding my brofur’s silvervine stick, so – by contract – am need to include him in my blog… P1160348so here is Mr. M playing with his favorite catnip toy, instead of helping me train our staff:

Have a wonderful week, my furiends!

tub

Dear Furiends,

Since I have ample experience with my mechanized fish in the tub, I am an expert on fishing. So, weather permitting, I will soon take Master Munchkin to The Pier. where I can pass on my expertise in the fine art of fishing.

What baffles me is why the staff seem to think so much stuff is required for these lessons and/0r why he can’t learn in the tub … I really don’t know what to make of all this stuff, but some of it is very interesting, purrticularly the things they call bobbers and lures.

Have a wonderful week, my furiends,  Purrseidon  >^.^<

PS: Mr. M was not included in this post because he refused to be associated  with this educational endeavor. In fact, that grumpy ole tom told me I ‘didn’t have a clue about fishing’ … as if HE knows! Ha!
