Sunday Selfies

Dear Furiends!

As is our custom, we have the staff either set up a wrapped empty box, with a door OR in this case, an empty box that looks like a gingerbread cottage under the tree, so we cats can be close, but not get the staff upset.

Before I forget to mention it, this post is purrticipating in The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfies Blog Hop – please, click here to visit our dear furiends, The Kitties Blue, as well as other Sunday hoppers. Now that I’ve mentioned that, Pawsephone was close to being hypnotized by the lights:

Katsu found a new way to try and avoid the camera:

AND Rumble and Merlin were so exhausted that they fell asleep… if they look big, that’s because they are growing fast. Rumble, who will soon be 7 months old, is heavier than Pawsephone and he is no where near ‘growing into his paws’. Merlin, at 5 months, is about 6 1/2 pounds… I don’t recall growing that fast… Katsu and Pawsephone were older when they arrived, so I don’t know how fast they grew:

Have a wonderful week, dear furiends!

    1. Hello Ms. BellaDharma – Pawsephone here because Ms. Purrseidon is busy. I don’t quite know what to think about the 2 ‘little’ guys… they seem to be growing faster than weeds. In fact, Rumble is already bigger than me! Katsu is starting to wonder if they will eventually get bigger than he is (he is 15 1/2 pounds, which makes it even more impressive that he is so good at disappearing.
Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays dear furiends!

    1. Meowser Ms. Mimi, I hope you’re correct! 4 months ago, Rumble was really too small to wear a harness… now he is bigger than Pawsephone!

    1. Dash dear furiend, they are basically just big gingerbread houses made with cardboard boxes and painted… not as fancy as they look.
Purrseidon, who bets your staff could make you one, if they have a nice big, sturdy box, scissors and glue.

    1. I believe our housekeeper originally found this on at Target … it is a few years old – we only get to use it 4-6 weeks at a time, and the rest of the year it is in the attic.
