1. My day is not complete until I check off items on my to-do-list.
2. It is time for humans to open their eyes and ears – take off those blinders and see world as it really is.
3. Sammy Squirrel made me change my mind about squirrels… until meeting him, I thought they were all evil acorn thieves, but Sammy is a true patriot, so squirrels are actually like any other animal – some are good, some are bad …. I wonder if any of them suffer from TDS….
4. I simply refuse to go to the vet… Katsu loves her and we both adore her humongous doggie, but she and her staff are overly fond of needles and thermometers.
This post is hosted by Ms. Ellen of https://15andmeowing.com and Ms.Lorianne of Fourleggedfurballs. Yesterday, they asked these questions. (Ms. Ellen asked the first two fill-in-the-blank questions and Ms. Lorianne the later two.) If you don’t want to write a blog post, you can simply answer in the comments section. These were the original questions:
1. My day is not complete until I ___________________.
2. It is time to ___________________.
3. _________ made me change my mind about _________.
4. I simply refuse to _________.
This post is also purrticipating in Comedy Plus’s Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Ms. Kathe, I am not of the opinion that going to the v e t has anything to do with good health!
IF that were true, I would tolerate the rude behavior…
Purrseidon who believes an annual checkup is basically wanted by the v e t for profit.

no these visits were necessary as our cat has bad teeth. We want her around and happy for many years! We just take her in for teeth checkups and the necessary vaccinations…rabies etc. Otherwise we could not travel as there are rules in boarding places and so far no one to house/cat sit that we would trust.

I understand….. Katsu likes our v e t, too but that is mainly because he was so ill when he was small…. the infected eye, etc.

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Sammy does look like a cool squirrel. Sometimes we have to do things we don’t like for our own good- like visit the vet. 🙂 XO

Ms Ellen, I really don’t think a visit to the v e t is for anyone’s good! And yes, I know Katsu loves the v e t, or at least her huge dog, so he loves going there to see his ‘girlfuirend’.

Love your fill-ins and yes the vet is a must, but not fun for them or us at times.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Ms. Sandee, I don’t consider the v e t to be a ‘must’ unless there is an illness and even then, I purrsonaly purrfer homeopathic treatment.

Vets have to do some very uncomfortable things to make sure you are healthy and well, and it’s not much fun,
Yes, some squirrels are not evil, and if every single acorn grew, there would be so many oak trees we wouldn’t have any place to stand! That’s why the Creator made many plants to shed so many seeds, knowing some were for food for His creatures and some were for growing.
One thing i’ve learned about my to-do lists is to hold them with a light hand not a tight fist, because sometimes things come up that are more important.

Ms. Mimi your words are always wise, but it sure would be nice if my local squirrels asked purrmission to harvest my acorns! I mean, I have no use for them, but it is unnerving when they swarm in and grab everything.

Nice to hear your new opinion of squirrels.I agree that vet thing, a vet is always in your ears, eyes, mouth or you know where.

Purrcisely why I avoid that v e t! As a human, I like ours, but once she goes into v e t mode, forget it!
