Dear Furiends,
This post is purrticipating in The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfies Blog Hop – to see what some of our furiends are doing this weekend please, click here and visit our dear furiends, The Kitties Blue, as well as other Sunday hoppers.
Since you’re still here and haven’t hopped over to see the Kitties Blue, Tori, Tallie (she saw Katsu’s jacket photo last week, and insisted on a back shot, so you can admire her growing feathers) , Katsu and Saphera did selfies, too:

& now from our dear freezing furiend, who lives in Ohio:
“Dear Purr and all your wonderful Furry friends! When I first came to Ma’s old school house, I ran away from Ma for a month. She fed me and I’d sneak downstairs to eat. These are the first photos of me finally standing still for Ma when she worked on the computer upstairs. I used to pass her by the computer and then run when I went by her, then ran down 20 stairs to eat. That’s when I realized she wasn’t going to attack me. What a nice feeling. Couldn’t figure out that camera she held. It wasn’t a gun like rural neighbors had. Did all you furry friends feel that afraid at first? I am still afraid, but Ma says her wild boy is getting better. See how I wanted Ma to let me in the house when it was so cold on the porch!
Thinking about all of you. Hope you have a wonderful, PURRRRfect Thanksgiving!
Love, Angel Kitty”
Wonderful selfies, and you can tell your friend Angel that our Horizon does understand, he is still partly feral and scared sometimes after almost 14 years indoors.

Mr. M was feral for most of his life, too, but he was more of the dark, silent type that avoided confrontation.

Dear Bela…. yes, we all have so much in common and we have great Ma’s and Pa’s. Did you know Ma taught me how to meow to her? I was totally mute when I got there! Our wild cat mommies teach us to be silent so others don’t eat us up! She used to leave videos on during the day for a couple weeks of cats and kittens meowing. I LOVED it! One day, I wanted her to wake up so I went to her bed, kept my distance by about 8 feet, and MEOWOWOWOWOWed! She woke up and was so happy. She said, Good Boy, Meowowowowowow! Since then, I knew I could talk to her that way. But, she didn’t want me to do it all night like I was at first. Kisses and happy gobbling. Angel Kitty

It comes slowly, step by step. It takes human love and patience and kitty love and trust and you meet, happily somewhere in the middle.

Everypawdy looks grr-eat! Miss Jeanne, Mom asks what kind of chickens you raise and if you do crafts with any of the feathers that they shed . . . er . . . molt? Winks.

Valentine dear furiend, you do have a one-track-mind, don’t you? My babies are Silkies, which are a type of bantam meaning that the full-grown ones are each about 2-3 pounds.
Yes, we do a lot of crafts, but no, we haven’t done any with shed feathers…. we don’t do any with Saphera’s fur, which is a mega shed twice a year, either. If you doubt the magnitude o a Sahpera shed, check out https://purrseidon.wordpress.com/2017/02/05/sunday-selfies-38/

It is impossible to be sure Tori was looking at the camera, but she apparently admired Katsu’s profile selfie. We all hope you have a purrfect Thanksgiving weel, too.

BellaDharma dear furiend, I’m sure Angel and Ms. Cherie will be happy to hear this – Angel is still trying to figure out how to be a housecat and Ms. Cherie previously was owned by doggies, and is confused by the difference of reaction. Still, all in all they are doing well together.

I’ve always known they were meant to be and would figure things out. Still, me knowing doesn’t make it any easier for them.

Thank you, dear furiends! I liked your selfies, too, but that turkey looks very suspicious.

Katsu is definitely getting better at his selfies. My, what fine feathers you do have, and growing so quickly too! Saphera looks as charming and happy as ever, I wonder was she thinking about a snack?
Anyways, Angel has come on leaps and bounds as it were and surely has found a great place to stake as his own. The only downside I can see with humans is their insistence on using computers and sharing our pictures across the globe, MOL
Purrs for a great week

ERin your so lovely that I would think you’d approve of your staff sharing your photos. As per Saphera, she is ALWAYS thinking about food…. Our staff needs to serve her propurr portions because if she was allowed to serve herself, she would eat everything in one sitting – then be sick. I know this for a fact, because she has done it when they didn’t propurrly lock the food cabinet and she ate a whole bag of kibble.

Yes, Erin…. what is that screen/TV thing people animals watch? I watched it the other day. Ma said she was going to show me cartoons. I saw an animal on the news yesterday! Love Angel.
