Sunday Selfies

Purr101Dear Furiends,

This post is purrticipating in The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfies Blog Hop – to see what some of our furiends are doing this weekend please, click here and visit our dear furiends, The Kitties Blue, as well as other Sunday hoppers.

Last Sunday, I told Ms. Ellen that I would bribe Karen to do a closeup selfie to show off her pretty blue ‘cheeks’ … and here it is:

Aren’t those the most amazing cheeks you’ve ever seen?

Um, that part on the left is Tori….

I think  C P has cheeks, but it is impossible to be positive about that…. I can never be sure if she’s even looking at me.20190609_093203

Angel said, “Wow, cool this morning, Ma. Yes, I’ll wait right here in the kitchen with you until you finish your coffee. Until then, I’ll keep my eyes on the big thicket and trees on the side of the house. Some creatures are stirring in there….”IMG_20190811_084043

<sigh> and then, there is my dear brofur, Katsu, who really doesn’t seem to understand the concept of photos at all… First off, one needs to be in front of the camera, not behind it. Secondly, that is a piggy bank, not a real camera.

Have a wonderful day, dear furiends!

    1. I suspect you’re correct about Katsu, so I keep telling him he is handsome and should show everyone… and still he tends to avoid the camera, but then so does mom.

  1. Karen sure has pretty blue cheeks! Katsu sure is funny… wonder what he would do with a real camera! Did Angel find out who the creatures were outside? Good to see you again, Purrseidon, we are back to blogging with a new blog called KFM Newz, this time featuring newz of a surprise kitten rescue and selfies from our recent rescued Mama cat and her kittens… Purrz from Katie the Mom and Chiquita.

    1. Meowser dear furiends, thank you for letting me know about the new blog – I just followed, or at least I had my secretary do so.
Hope all of you have a wonderful week.

    1. Mr. Charles, truth be told, I’m a bit jealous of those beautiful blue cheeks. I’m also grateful that Karen has them, because before they got so vivid, it was nearly impossible to tell Karen and Tory apart.

  2. Your hens are really doing well with the camera thing. And Angel has posed so sweetly. I think my attention would have been elsewhere if there were beasties in that thicket, MOL
As to Katsu, well I think we have sussed it, he is clearly one who likes to take shots rather than be in them. Maybe he can be the official Purrseidon and Co. selfie taker?

    1. ERin dear furiend,, I think you’ve just come up with a purrfect description, not to mention job for Katsu! Now, all we need to do is figure out how to get that ceramic bank to take actual photos.
I’m very purroud of my little hens (they are bantams, so each weighs 2-3 pounds – ehem, I weigh about 10#, so calling them little is factual) Being a mother hen is very rewarding. Have you thought of raising chicks?

      1. Very interesting. Food helps with my chicks, but they are usually friendly. Thankfully, we don’t have any fox, though I can’t say the same thing about snakes and alligators.
