Dear Furiends,
This post is purrticipating in The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfies Blog Hop – to see what some of our furiends are doing this weekend please, click here and visit our dear furiends, The Kitties Blue, as well as other Sunday hoppers.
Our dear furiend, Angel, said, “Guess what? I let Ma win today. She was so happy to win by ONE POINT. HAHA!!! Notice how I came out of tunnel and plopped my body on the yarn, and I put my foot on it? She pulls and pulls and finally gives up. Then I score a point. Today, I let it go on purpose. Don’t ever tell her. She never wins unless I let her. Poor Man doesn’t know how to hunt but I love her.”
Here are CP, Katsu, Karen & Tori. ( I THINK CP is looking at the camera, but I can’t be sure… For certain, Karen and Tori are being rude and ignoring it… I’m wondering if they are trying to follow Katsu’s lead.)
Ahha, caught them with heads up!!! So, I’m taking the opportunity of explaining which is which. Tori doesn’t have as much waddle and her comb is different she is smaller, and so are her tail feathers. Also, her feet aren’t fully feathered, like C P and Karen. Notice that Karen has more blue. So far, neither crow or lay OR IF any of them are laying, something might be eating them ,,,, or they are hiding their eggs. The weeds are awful – it is wet season here, so a couple days ago about 2 inches of rain drummed down in less than an hour – yesterday, only an inch.
The coop behind them is part of the old bunny run and it needs work but they like to play in it, so eventually we will probably add it to their run.
Have a wonderful week, dear furiends!

Very elegant portrait, so relaxed, Ms. Purr. I think my computer ate the picture of Katsu.

“Oh, Purr and Auntie Jeanne, look at Purr on a human leg! Only sometimes do I lean on Ma’s knee, got to her hand the other day, but I really get scared and move right away. Really afraid she’s going to touch my neck and ears. She doesn’t understand what happened. You look gorgeous in your resting position! Ma says I’m beautiful too. We are ALL just beautiful, all the ferals. AND, look at those gorgeous Chicks! Wow, they are growing. CP and Karen, never seen any chicks like that! Wow. Love you all and Purr’s friends too!”

Meowser dear furiend, you see a human leg because you lean on your mom’s knee… I was being cradled by Master Munchkin. I’ve never seen anything quite like CP and Karen, either.

Tori has some fancy feet! I bet she and her lady furriends smell quite tasty. I wonder if they are hiding their eggs so bandit coons can’t steal them. Hugs.

Nice selfies. Tori is pretty. Aren’t they too young to be laying already?

Ms Ellen, I think they are about old enough to start laying, which is why I’ve begun looking for eggs.
Purrseidon, who thinks Karen’s face is actually prettier with those bright blue ‘cheeks’ … I shall attempt to bribe her to do a selfie next Sunday.

Aww, that was so good of Angel to let his staff win one point. I would add that one should do this regularly—but not too regularly, to keep them amused and give a feeling of wellbeing 😉
Anyways, looks like the hens are having a great time, though that rain would put a dampener on any laying if it was me, MOL
Lots of purrs

Good morning Princess ERin! I agree that it is smart to allow staff to win occasionally. Hope you’re having a wonderful day.
