1. When I can’t go outside and play in the rain, I get grumpy.
2. Bring back the nuclear family and those values.
3. I’m embarrassed to say that it has taken me this long to be able to tell Karen and Tori apart… Tori is now about an inch taller, so I still need to have them side by side.
4. I feel like love gives my life meaning.
This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by Ms. Ellen of 15and meowing and Ms. Lorianne of Fourleggedfurballs. Yesterday, they asked these questions. (Ms. Ellen asked the first two fill-in-the-blank questions and Ms. Lorianne the later two – our answers are underlined.) If you don’t want to write a blog post, you can simply answer in the comments section. These were the original questions:
1. When I can’t _________________, I get _________________.
2. Bring back _______________.
3. I’m embarrassed to say _________.
4. I feel like _________ gives my life meaning.
This post is also purrticipating in Ms. Sandee’s Comedy Plus’s Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a great day!
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Purrseidon! You are such a wise kitty. This here human grew up in a happy nuclear family, and it’s sad to think that not all that many people have that these days. Purrs and happy thoughts to you!

Ms. Lorianne, I don’t know how wise I am, but I watch the news. Despite many of the so-called-facts not always seeming to line up, I’ve noticed a pattern of the people who appear to have emotional issues of some sort, also seem to have family and/or relationship problems of some type.

The chicks aren’t forced to stay inside, but they flee from rain.

Great answers, i can imagine the only reason not to let you play outdoors in the rain would be because of lightening.

Yesterday, that was surely a fact. The poor chicks fled into their little house well before the booming deluge started… That was one storm even I didn’t want to play in!

Meowser Brofur, Kosmo! My staff is a ‘nuclear family’ that means the parents are married and both munchkins are theirs. It is my purrsonal opinion that this is best. While I haven’t seen a study on this, it seems to me that many of the individuals who are unhappy and or even criminals, didn’t have a father in the home. As per the values part that is complex, but basically treat others as you wish to be treated. Of course, just having a dad in the family won’t solve everything – each parent needs to have good values, too and they both need to interact with the kids, not just throw money at them.

Thank you, now I know what you mean. I was just thinking of a nuclear weapons. I totally agree, here all the values seem to be in a waste paper basket. It almost feels that having a normal family is a crime. Everywhere we hear discussions of two fathes or two mothers families, everything not normal is made now normal, and we are now stupid and old-fashioned.

Purrcisely, dear brofur, purrcisely…. and this is something I’m trying to correct, at least in my own family.

Meowser! My main issue this time of year is that many afternoons have thunder storms. So far, so good, today, but yesterday was horrible! One boom seemed to be directly overhead – it shut off the light! We also got more than an inch of rain dumped on us in less than an hour…. The good thing is that there was no whipping wind and we don’t need to water the garden.

Bear is funny like that. No bath for him. But he’ll stand out in the pouring rain and dare me to come to get him. The cat ALWAYS wins. ALWAYS! Remember that, Purr 😉

I’ve noticed a pattern of the cats always winning and/or being in charge here, too.
