This is not the best picture of C P, but she finally figured out the perch! (All the others had been using them forever , but she kept falling even on the ramps. —- Might have been copying Katsu.) They still stay in the baby cage at night as they refuse to go into coop part. We tried food and put them in through the coop …. they refuse. I feel safer with them on the porch at night anyways. back yardback yard
I am so proud of CP! Just look how confident she looks on that perch! (For those of you who are new to my blog, C P is the fluffy one on the left).
NOW, for a few selfies from a couple of my back yard furiends:
The first one is “Gopher’ he is a gopher tortoise, who lives in the field next door, but he occasionally comes by to visit… and he likes fruit scraps, so my peaches are a hit with him. If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you already know William Snakespear, who chased Ms. Munchkin home about 4 years ago, decided he liked my back yard and then moved in. If you look closely at his photo, he has an ant on his back… I don’t know why, but he often seems to have an ant on his back… Does anyone know if snakes have pet ants? …. Notice how competed they both are at taking selfies? Katsu could learn tips from them.
Alas, Katsu continues to be totally resistant to the smiling at the camera.
Saphera was feeling silly, so kept her specs on for her selfie:
She thinks she looks intellectual – whatever that is.
I think she looks nearsighted.
Our furiend, Angel is doing fine in Ohio and sends his regard… He not only took the time to pause in a game, but he looked at the camera!
Have a wonderful day, dear furiends!
