Sunday Selfies

Dear Furiends,20190205_101614

Katsu and I have been busy-busy with pre-garden projects. In other meows, planning our spring garden then starting seeds in these cute little peat pots. I am confident that by the time water is added, I shall be dirty enough to merit a bath!

Baths are always a bonus of taking up gardening. 20190205_101644

Meanwhile, Katsu has managed to stay spotless. Oh, and that strange blueish thing outside the catio is Saphera’s old Bumble (it was 3 years old, not the new one she got last Christmas)… I guess Saphera figured it had endured a long, hard life and deserved time off in the garden…. I will also add that she is now hauling around her Dino Dental Chew toy instead of the new Bumble, so I’m not sure if I’m correct about her intentions.20190205_155726

Our furiend, Angel (below), is still alive and well in freezing Ohio…. Looks like he has a very comfy spot under Ms. Cherie’s humongous piano, but Saphera’s corner of the sofa looks even more comfy to me!

    1. Mr. Greg, we live in semi-tropical Florida and almost garden year round…. very good hobby for baths! And the only reason Katsu has green paws is because he tramples plants, but I’m trying to teach him.

    1. As per the Farmer’s Almanac, next weekend is good for planting above ground crops, then February 23rd will be a good day to plant root crops. I’m sure the Farmer’s Almanac has ideal schedules for your area, too.

  1. I guess so long as Saphera isn’t hauling around anyone or anything else, then all is well MOL
I’m glad Angel is looking nice and snug, Ohio sounds like it is a really chilly place right now. Around here, if we had a fire I would be sizing it up for firewood as it is too uncomfortable to sit on, especially the keys which make a terrible din when I roll over 😉
Purrs to you all, and happy gardening!
