1. Better to be happy than sad.
2. Don’t do things just because it’s popular.
3. You couldn’t pay me to live in the same house with a squirrel.
4. Salmon is my comfort food.
This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by Ms. Ellen of 15andmeowing & Ms. Lorianne of Fourleggedfurballs Yesterday, they asked these questions. (Ms. Ellen asked the first two fill-in-the-blank questions and Ms. Lorianne the later two – our answers are underlined.) If you don’t want to write a blog post, you can simply answer in the comments section. These were the original questions:
1. Better to be ____________ than ___________________.
2. Don’t _______________ just because ________________.
3. You couldn’t pay me to _________.
4. _________ is my comfort food.
This post is also purrticipating in Comedy Plus’s Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a great day!
We knew you’d come through! We just told Ms. Ellen that we didn’t understand why humans don’t count fish as a comfort food. Humans are weird. Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty

Snoops & Kommando Kitty, I’ll never understand human comfort food, either…. Katsu seems to, though. Would you believe that he loves mashed potatoes?!!?? Seems like a rather questionable food to me.

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Purrseidon! The kitties here told me they might like to live with a squirrel, because it would be a live-action toy! Wishing you a happy, salmon-filled day!

Ms. Lorianne, please tell you kitties that salmon is far superior to squirrels and bird TV is better, too!

Our girl kitty Boba does not seem to like fish in any form. I have no idea why. Maybe you could have you a little squirrel pie and that would help you like squirrels a little better.

Mr. M used to tell me how squirrels were his main course when living feral. I don’t know if this was factual or not, but he purrferred chicken to fish in his later years.
Purrseidon, who doubts our chef knows how to make squirrel pie.

I wouldn’t want to have a squirrel living in the house with me either, but I love to watch them outside. I understand that they are bothersome to you. They are pretty good at wreaking havoc wherever they go.
Salmon is a great comfort food. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!

Ms. Suzanne, I prefer to watch geckos, birds and butterflies. Whenever squirrels are around they are stealing things, if not my oak tree’s acorns, then the food in the bird feeder.
You have a blessed – and squirrel-free – weekend, too!

Thanks, Purrseidon. 🙂
I love to watch the birds, butterflies, and geckos, too. They are all amazing examples of Heavenly Father’s artistry.
There’s already been a squirrel sighting, so much for a squirrel free weekend. 🙂

Ms.Suzanne, you must live in a very dangerous area… we only see squirrels here when the acorns ripen.

Yes, I actually do live in a dangerous place. Squirrels are here year round and are the least of our worries. There were cops at the park beside our house earlier this morning, out of their cars and circling around another vehicle. I don’t know what was happening, but there are always gang symbols around that park (shoes hanging over the power lines, etc.) To tell you how close we are to that park, when children are on the swings, we can hear the swings moving. Too close for comfort when it comes to “bad guys”!
Have a blessed day. 🙂

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I wouldn’t want to live with a squirrel either- they are basically rats dressed in fur. Have a nice weekend- I hope you get some salmon. XO

Ms. Ellen, did you know that Pops calls squirrels ‘tree rats’? Obviously he knows their true character, too.

It is better to choose to be happy. Doing something just because it is popular is not a good way to be happy most of the time.

Jackie agrees about the salmon, especially when the big human prepared it! And no-one of our pack would tolerate a squirrel in the house.
Have a wonderful weekend!
