Feline Friday Fillins

DSC_0347 copy1. I just was outside trying to decide if I could begin harvesting and drying my ‘nip, yet.
2. My next purroject will be purrparing for Christmas_.
3. The sound of high-pitched screechy voices makes me cringe.
4. Right now, I am craving nothing, but that’s not unusual because I seldom crave things…. I prefer to carve things with my claws.

This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by Ms. Ellen of 15andmeowing  & Ms. Lorianne of Fourleggedfurballs Yesterday, they asked these questions. (Ms. Ellen asked the first two fill-in-the-blank questions and Ms. Lorianne the later two – our answers are underlined.)

    1. Working on this!!!! This morning, I woke up to the chilliest weather, so far,…. Purr Katsu is still tucked in bed…. It amazes me how adverse he seems to be to seasonal change.

      1. Last night, my staff was chatting on the phone with furiends who live in Michigan… they were snowed in – 8 inches in the driveway… I thought it sounded exciting… Katsu’s eye got huge, then he sprinted for the bedroom … I’m beginning to wonder if he has a sense of adventure.

Purrseidon, this here human at our house can be so daft. We were certain we’d left a comment here for you, but it would seem our slacking human failed to post it. So, thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! We’re curious if you’ll be gifting Katsu any of your catnip for Christmas? Or, perhaps you’re instead using those claws of yours to carve him something?

    1. Meowser, Dear Furiends, of course I share my harvest with my brofur, though he doesn’t have the gene that addicts him (neither do I). HOWEVER, I make an excellent spray with it and it’s better than DEET at repelling mosquitoes …. We do have those nasty things. Purrseidon

      1. Yes, Snoops, dear furiend, ‘nip addiction begins with the genes. Deapite the fact that I’m very proud of my ‘nip patch, I don’t have the gene and neither does Katsu (Mr. M didn’t, either( that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate how well it keeps away biting insects OR the lovely scent. IF you’re interested, mom posted a chart about ‘nips properties here: https://foguth.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/catnip/

    1. Meowser, Ms. Ellen, you’re very smart for realizing that I meant I needed to begin making gifts…. and yes, drying my harvest just might be part of that plan.

    1. Ms. Mimi, the past two years, rain didn’t get it, high winds did…. a.k.a., hurricanes, which are apparently rated cat 1 and on up because they love ‘nip!!! Thieves is what those storms are.

    1. Ms. Sandee, moms can be very selfish, too – purrticularly about things like yarn. One would think they would appurrciate it when we make them gifts. Instead, they lock the door to the room the yarn is stored in.
