Feline Friday Fillins

DSC_0347 copy1. Chucky is an awful Halloween decoration and I’m glad I dismembered him.
2. I always read NO sections of the newspaper because we don’t get one.
3. Black cats are LUCKY in Japan, which is obviously a very wise and purrgressive country.
4. Freeze-diried salmon is my favorite treat.

This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by Ms. Ellen of 15andmeowing  & Ms. Lorianne of Fourleggedfurballs Yesterday, they asked these questions. (Ms. Ellen asked the first two fill-in-the-blank questions and Ms. Lorianne the later two – our answers are underlined.)pool

If you don’t want to write a blog post, you can simply answer in the comments section. Have a great day! These were the original questions:
1. _______________________ is an awful _______________________.
2. I always read __________________________ sections of the newspaper.
3. Black cats _________.
4. _________ is my favorite treat.

This post is also purrticipating in Comedy Plus’s Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Chucky is super duper scary! Congratulations on shredding him. We haven’t gotten the newspaper in years. Isn’t it funny how the way we get news has changed with the internet?

    1. Well, I just turned 4, and my staff stopped getting a paper and ink newspaper more than a decade ago, so I don’t know of any way to get news other than internet. That said, I think it’s very interesting how differently some sources report things or even the topics.

      1. Oops I got the doll’s name wrong. It is My Buddy, not My Little Buddy. He was actually a cute doll, but he reminded us of Chucky. Something I read earlier said the My Buddy Doll inspired the Chucky movie. I don’t know if that is true or not. There was also a girl doll called Kid Sister and she was cute like My Little Buddy and didn’t seem quite so creepy. Here is a site with a picture of My Buddy.

      2. I have no idea, but I agree. Some dolls are pretty evil. Our kids had a talking doll when they were little. It was on the floor and I didn’t see it. I stepped on it and that thing said, “Get off my finger!” Mind you, that was NOT one of the pre-recorded messages in that doll. That freaked me out. I’m pretty sure that doll ended up in the landfill somewhere!

      3. Thank you, Purrseidon. 🙂

If you don’t like dolls, you wouldn’t want to go to my mother-in-law’s house. They are absolutely everywhere, in display cabinets, on the beds, in their own beds, etc. OK, I take it back, They aren’t everywhere….I haven’t see them in the bathroom, but that’s about the only place. She loves dolls. 🙂
        Have a blessed day.

      4. Ms. Suzanne, I don’t mind dolls in general. In fact, I basically ignore them – even the ones that walk. HOWEVER, Chucky was not normal and even a smear on the term ‘doll’… That thing was pure evil. Ms. Munchkin suspects it might have been possessed.

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Purrseidon! We don’t get the paper either. The worst part about that is that the kitties don’t get to use the newspaper as a bed, and newspapers make for wonderful beds. And we think Japan is setting a purrfect example on the proper treatment of black cats. Purrs!

    1. Ms. Lorianne, apparently, my staff had a white sofa ages ago… that was when they DID get the paper and apparently black ink and white fabric isn’t exactly compatible.

  4. I love all your answers. We don’t get the paper anymore either. It’s expensive and there really isn’t much content anymore. The cartoons were my favorite.

I chuckled at your answer to #1. That was a good thing to do.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
