Feline Friday Fillins

1.My family’s love and confidence in me brings out the best in me.

2.Nothing that I’ve encountered, yet makes me grumpier than Grumpy Catbut squirrels make Ms. Purrseidon very, very grumpy…. I’m thinking they scare her and she acts grumpy to cover that up.

3. If money grew on trees, I would plant one in my ‘nip patch.

4. I have a fear of another hurricane coming to steal my ‘nip patch…. it’s doing purrticulalry well this year, but I still haven’t gotten over Matthew snatching my whole crop two years ago.

    Kitty,

We hope you don’t have any hurricanes this year. They are particularly nasty.
Harvey cleaned our clock. We are still a long way from digging out here. Have a blessed week.

  2. There are a lot of emotions that try to hide behind the mask of grumpiness, fear being one of them. Hopefully the squirrels won’t bother either of you. They can be little rascals, for sure.

I hope no hurricanes come along to attack the nip patch again!

    Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Katsu and Purrseidon! Just like Purrseidon, Eddy also gets grumpier than grumpy when she sees a squirrel. She gets even grumpier when she sees the neighbor cat, because she says he needs to get off her lawn! Purrseidon, we’re purring that your ‘nip crop stays safe and sound. Purrs!

    1. Well IF I hear of a storm heading my way, again, I think I shall harvest my crop early and put it in the dehydrator…. The one good thing about those awful nip-stealing storms is that I get a few days of warning about their arrival… I can’t imagine how horrid they would be if there was no more warning than one gets for a tornado. 1. Yep, my nip patch was stolen 2 years in a row. Matthew the first year, when I only actually had one nip plant; Irene last year, when I had my first actual patch… THIS YEAR I have taken protective measures by planting a lot in the actual patch, plus having four prize plants in pots, which can be brought indoors for purrtection AND IF another nip-stealer comes along, I plan to do an early harvest of the actual patch…. 4. Ooh, The Tribe is jealous, we do not have a catnip patch. That is due to the fact that The Female Human can’t make anything grow. She even has to have someone come in once a week to take care of her garden in the summer but we say it’s worth it because we love to stroll through the flowers. On another note, we read with great interest about Katsu’s water adventure. We might be seeing two felines on the boogie board one of these days. Alberto’s kayak training has been delayed, it’s been so smokey here and the air quality unhealthy, Sigh, maybe we can get out in the fall if it stays warm enough.

      1. Thank you for the purrayers! We actually had rain the other day and now it seems as if fall is here. The Humans can open the windows again and if we have a warm fall, Alberto still might get a ride in the kayak!

      2. Dare I hope that the rain washed the smoke out of the air?!? Mr. M claimed that raindrops formed around ‘purrticulate matter’ in the air and it seems to me that smoke should qualify.

    1. Ms. Mimi, I do have 4 prize nip plants in pots on my catio and plan to have my staff take them indoors if a storm dares to come close. Alas, my entire nip patch would be too large to put in pots. >^.^<

    1. Well Ms. Sandee, if another nip-stealing-cat-3 storm comes along, at least I’ve had the foresight to put a few of my plants in pots, which the staff can bring inside! >^.^<
