1. Fireworks are one of Saphera’s favorite things… my staff can’t figure this out because just about everything else scares her.
2. My favorite 4th of July picnic food is fried chicken.
& now, Katsu will answer the next 2:
3. I begin every day with a stretch and while I’m doing that, I thank my lucky stars that I found a wonderful furever home.
4. Master Munchkin is the best thing since sliced bread.
This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by 15andmeowing & Fourleggedfurballs. Yesterday, they asked these fourfill-in–the–blank questions:
1. Fireworks ______________________.
2. My favorite 4th of July picnic food is _______________.
3. I begin every day with _________.
4. _________ is the best thing since sliced bread.
If you don’t want to write a blog post, you can simply answer in the comments section. Have a great day!
This post is also purrticipating in Comedy Plus’s Feline Friday blog hop.
Oh yes. Fried chicken. Got to love it. When it is done good, it is great.
Have a happy fourth and a blessed week.

It’s interesting that Saphera enjoys fireworks when she’s afraid of so many other things. I used to know a Doberman who enjoyed fireworks, but he wasn’t afraid of anything! 🙂

Ms. Saphera was an abused puppy prior to being found/claimed by my staff. They assume that her attitudes toward things were formed prior to coming to them. I think fireworks are exciting and pretty. >^.^<

Fried chicken is probably a favorite of almost everyone except vegetarians and the chickens themselves.
Katsu, i am also glad you found a great home.

I can see your point why the chickens wouldn’t approve.

Thank you both for these great answers. That is odd that Saphera is not afraid of the fireworks. I
am glad you found such a wonderful home Katsu. I wonder, do you both fight for Master Munchkin’s attention? Have a nice weekend! XO

No, Ms. Ellen, we don’t fight over Master Munchkin. Ms. Munchkin, either. I’m very interested to see what these controversial fireworks are as well as see Ms. Saphera enjoy them. Katsu

Oh, Saphera sounds just like lady cat Eddy around here. Eddy is scared of everything. She scurries under the bed at the mere sound of the front door, and I’m just about the only human who gets to see her. She’ll even run from me and hide under the bed if I’m carrying anything big in my hands, even if it’s just a blanket. Yet, she loves to watch fireworks out the window. She also watches lightning out the window. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! We hope you all get lots of fried chicken for Independence Day!

Meowser, dear furiend, Eddy surly does sound like Saphera. It’s actually remarkable how well a dog that size can hide. >^.^<

I’m not surprised that fried chicken would be your favorite picnic food, Purr. It is a great picnic food.
Maybe Saphera likes all the pretty colors of the fireworks.
Katsu, I’m glad that you have found a great home and that you love Master Munchkin so much. That is great. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend.

Ms. Suzanne, in truth, I purrfer fish, but experience has told me that is not on a 4th of July menu. >^.^<

Fish is great, but it definitely wouldn’t be a good picnic food, not with it being so hot out there.
Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

Ms. Suzanne, I’m thinking it could be a picnic food if the staff ever had the sense to catch a fish and cook it at the park…. >^.^<

Saphera is the first dog I’ve heard of who likes fireworks. One of the dogs who lived next to my parents chewed a piece of off the house trying to get inside one July 4th

We have no idea why she loves fireworks – normally she hides from strangers and we typically need to put her thunder shirt on when company is expected. Aside from the fact that she’s a dog, she would be the poster girl for ‘frady cat’. Yet she loves fireworks. It’s a head-scratcher. >^.^<
