Feline Friday Fillins

DSC_00161. My favorite Disney character is Mufasa, who is as ready to play as he is to instruct, Mufasa guides young Simba with a voice as character_thelionking_mufasa_5a85a627golden as his magnificent mane.

2. If I could stay any age for life, I would choose to be age as I am at the moment.

3.Gardening is my secret talent. Purrhaps it’s not so secret, since I’ve shared photos of my ‘nip patch.P1160727

4. Life is like a bowl of cherries… at least that’s the quote I heard, but I’ve never seen an actual bowl of cherries, so am not sure this is accurate.

This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by 15andmeowing FourleggedfurballsYesterday, they asked these four fill-intheblank questions:

1. My favorite Disney character is ____________________.

2. If I could stay any age for life, I would choose to be age _________________.global-1585383__180

3. _________ is my secret talent.

4. Life is like a _________.

  2. I can’t remember the ages of your Munchkins – but have they ever seen Lion Guard? For months, that’s all my niece talked about. She especially loved Fuli, the cheetah. Your mention of Mufasa got me thinking. I haven’t seen it myself, but the theme seems to be that we all have our strengths (each member of the Lion Guard has a unique talent).

    1. Master Munchkin will become an official teenager in the coming week and Ms. Munchkin will turn 15 in September… that means she’ll be getting a driver’s license and I can’t decide if this is good news for me or not… She has a history of crashing the riding lawnmower into my oak tree…. Raising humans isn’t for the faint of heart! >^.^<

  3. Oohh. we are jealous about your nip patch, very nice!! And I’m with you about the cherries thing. What are cherries and who would want a bowl of them? It sounds like another silly human saying.

  4. OhMy! On this opposite side of the ocean, this country is the biggest producer of cherries (prunus cerasa and prunus avium) in the UE 😄
Not bowls but pools of cherries, of every kind: red, white-red, black, amarene, cherries of Vignola, and so on 😋
Now, it is cherries season 😂
    Delicious and super-funny!

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Purrseidon! I really wanted to put a character from The Lion King as one of my favorites (because cats!), but, in all honesty, that movie has always made me feel very sad. And if we could hire you on as our gardener, we would in a heartbeat. We need a nip patch around here! Purrs, and happy Friday!

    1. Ms. Lorianne I should be thanking you and Ms. Ellen for hosting this blog hop. Nip is easy to grow, and can be grown in actual yard OR pot. Catgrass is super easy, too. So if you have a place that gets morning light, you should be able to have your own…. Ehem, ‘nip is a good insect repellent, so humans can benefit from it, too. Katsu and I hope you have a purrfect weekend! >^.^<

    1. I’ve heard that eating cherries reduces uric acid in the blood, which makes them very good for kidney stones and gout… Too bad that Mr. M refused to eat them, they might have helped his kidney issues. >^.^<

      1. I might have known that you’d have bird feeders! Unfortunately, when I had the wonderful opportunity to tour your garden, I was quite distracted by your plants…. Best garden, ever. At least from this cat’s purrspective. >^.^<

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I know you are an excellent gardener. 🙂 I have never seen The Lion King because I thought I would get too upset when his father dies. Have a nice weekend ! XO

    1. Cherries don’t grow in Florida, but my ‘nip is doing very well. I’m not 100% sure what that might mean, but think it has something to do with them having hard bits in the middle and the ability to get bad spots. >^.^<
