Dear Furiends,

Did you notice that I’m posing with a beetle? I didn’t want to pose alone. Weird looking, IMG_0571isn’t he? Or purrhaps it’s a she … s/he didn’t actually say. The next selfie is of the big, ole moth that came by to visit … s/he didn’t mind posing alone. I don’t know about you, but I like insects, mainly I like watching them.

My dear furiend, Angel enjoyed purrticipating in last week’s selfies, so here he is, again:

 Of course, Katsu must be included. BTW, he seems to be getting over his UTI infection, and I dare to hope his whole body is healing. That having been said, either he’s the clumsiest kitten ever, or I’m super-coordinated… Mom thinks he bumps into things because he doesn’t see quite right, and if his eye ever gets fixed, purrhaps he will be better coordinated. For sure, he’s getting better at looking at the camera.DSC_0072

    1. Bugs don’t live long, and yes, they often look creepy, but not as creepy as the Chucky doll my staff insists on using as a Halloween decoration. >^.^<

  2. Purrseidon, many insects are very beautiful! I hope, from the bottom of my heart, that Katsu will be healthy as soon as possible. He is a good little brother. I have a question aout Xander the Purrtector, did he asked Mischief to marry him, whe she was older or what happened to them?

    1. Kosmo, Xander doesn’t have any romantic interest in Ms. Mischief! He merely views her as a somewhat annoying apprentice, though he admits that her love of water is probably a good thing for a future Sea Purrtector to have. >^.^<

  3. Good for Katsu, learning to pose under your excellent directions!

    We had a very clumsy kitten once. The poor thing came from a feral colony that was so inbred he was over a month older than the others from a different litter when he finally learned to jump down one step and actually land on his feet.

    If Katsu isn’t seeing too well, that could easily explain his clumsiness. Sort of like some people i know.

  5. I’m enamored with all the photos! You look so-o statuesque Purrseidon! And that is the biggest moth EVER! I haven’t seen one of those kind before. I bet it’s caty-pillar is ginormous! Tee hee hee! Winks.

  6. Everybody did great with their selfies, even the insects. We do hope fixing Katsu’s eye will help his problems, but if not, we know he will eventually learn his way around and have fewer problems. Thanks for hopping over.   7. Aww, you cant help but like the little guy, Katsu. Your guests look fun to have around, though here they would be fair game for me to play with, if you know what I mean…. unless of course they bite! We hopes that the UTI goes quickly, as that is not a pleasant thing especially with crossed legs…. oooh maybe thats why Katsu is so uncoordinated?!

    1. ERin, I’ve always assumed Katsu was clumsy because his eyes don’t work together, but you might be correct about him having more than one problem walking straight! >^.^<
