Sunday Selfies

Dear Furiends,

I managed to get into the library due to rain… I’ve basically been living on the catio, while Katsu took over my home and surrogate mom.

This is Katsu:DSC_0086

Looks quite cozy in my old bedroom, doesn’t he?!?

BTW, I’m not the only one who is irritated over the current situation, as you can see, below, Ms. Livie Lou isn’t happy, either… Surrogate-mom-Saphera isn’t paying attention to her bestest furiend, either.(Just like she is ignoring me… I don’t know what it is about babies that turn Saphera into a single-minded dog.)DSC_0022-2

Since you liked last week’s Angel Trumpet selfie, here is a closeup:DSC_0009.p

Lastly, the situation (Katsu + monopoly of Saphera’s attention) below is what has me and Ms. Livie Lou hissing and howling;

Purrseidon >*.^<

  1. I think the mom needs to fix all this and soon. It’s just not fair for you to be evicted and then no lovies either? I really find that hard to believe.

Have a purrfect and woof woof day. My best to your peeps. ♥

    1. Shoko, I hope you’re correct. I also know that you totally understand how devastating it is to lose your beloved sibling. How are you doing? >^.^<

    1. The more I think about switching places, the better I like it. As is, I can only view him through the window and/or screen…. I tend to get distracted by the way he is taking over my place. BUT switching should allow us to become accustomed to each other’s scent without the danger or contagion – assuming his eye issue IS contagious, that is. >^.^<

  2. Well, at least you got the catio to yourself, Purrseidon, but that Katsu needs to know that you’ll be taking back control of your bedroom, household and everything and everypawdy in it. Tee hee hee.

    1. I’m accustomed to sharing my catio. The chef has a comfy chair out there and Halo used to have his hutch on the porch …. Mr. M was the king of the catio, but now it’s just me and sometimes the chef. >^.^<

  3. Could your staff be talked into letting you and Katsu switch places sometimes? That way each of you can get used to the smell of the other, i’ve been told it sometimes helps the introductions go more smoothly.

    That is a beautiful flower!

  4. I feel your pain…I really hate it the first few days after my furrblings (Kozmo, Jo Jo and the hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon) come to visit. I sulk in my sanctuary until I decide I’ve had enough sulking and come out to play…then it is so much fun!
I hope you are happier soon!

    1. Kosmo, at this moment, I don’t know what I’m hoping for as it relates to Katsu. While I’m hoping his eye can be healed, I’m also resenting being left out. Wish you lived closer, dear brofur! >^.^<

  5. Sometimes, lovely Purr, it takes time to adjust the situation 😁
Maybe, Saphera is trying to find a surrogate-alternative to Mr M, or an alternative to her diet 😀😂
    Happy Rainy Sunday 💕

  6. Oh my! To be ousted from your own palace, and then betrayed by Saphera, too! I d hope the patio has all your needs, running mice free-flowing kibble and treats and Mouseflixs?
That is a gorgeous bloom, I hope it smells as sweet as it looks…

    1. ERin, there aren’t any mouseflixs, but bird tv has an excellent reception. Plus I have all necessary facilities, including a water fountain in the catio.
There isn’t much smell, but it’s HUGE In point of fact, it’s about a long as Katsu and the wide spot, which is in the pic is about the size of his head.
