Dear Furiends,

I’m NOT liking Katsu being in the house (with me locked on the catio, until everyone is positive his eye infection isn’t contagious. WORSE, the traitorious dog likes the situation!!! Katsu’s new game is ‘catch the wagging tail’ and Saphera is in surrogate-mom-heaven.

Meanwhile, I’m hissing through the screen and observing how that kitten is taking over my staff… I’m so peeved over this that I’m not letting anyone, except my chef, who likes to work in the catio to pet me.

How dare they all forget Mr. M so quickly?!?

  2. This is an outrage, I hiss in Saphera’s general direction. How could your fellow furry family member embrace that little whipper snapper so quickly. Well, at least the chef is hanging out with you and, if you only choose one human to allow into our inner sanctum, the chef would be my first choice (as long as the chef empties litter boxes too!)
    Hang in there my furiend, this too shall pass.

    1. Oliver, I assure you that the chef is also a good sanitation worker…. Saphera has always gone over the edge for babies – species isn’t important to her. In fact, she’s gotten in trouble with some of the staff’s human friends when it was time for them to leave and she didn’t want them to take the baby with them… Basically, it doesn’t surprise me that she fell for Katsu, what peeves me is that I’m not included. >^.^<

      1. Hang in there my friend, I see you and Katsu being buddies in the near future. And please relay my apologies to Saphera, purrhaps I was a bit hasty in my remarks. I’m quick to get my whiskers in a twist if I think any of my furiends are being mistreated.

    1. Oh, Momma Kat, I’m so sorry to hear that my dear furiend, Bear, has issues, too…. Munchkins were doing homework when Saphera and Katsu were playing ‘tail wag’.

    1. Well, I was in the catio watching birds when Saphera opened the bedroom door and invited Katsu to come out and play…. she hasn’t invited me to play ‘wag the tail’ in years. >^.^<

    1. Ms. Mary, I’m trying to be patient. Really. But it’s frustrating, very, very frustrating when first the kitten takes over my room. Then, when Saphera realized there was a new baby in the house, she made a point of going in there to the point that the staff gave up trying to keep Katsu in quarantine and locked me in the catio!!!! >^.^<

    Hissing and meowing against Katsu will not help, but I am confident you will love him, soon or later 😀🤗

    1. But Sid, Saphera is MY surrogate mom and I’m now locked in the catio!!! Why can Saphera get to know him and play tail-wag, while I must be locked out?!?!? This just isn’t right. >^.^<
