1. I start to decorate for Christmas/Hanukkah the day after Thanksgiving… I know that is “Black Friday” and many think it is a shopping day, but by then, my family has finished shopping, though they might still need to wrap or send some items. Thus, we can relax and enjoy the ‘holly daze’ and focus on family and furiends…. and food!
2. I prefer a real, live Christmas tree because it smells right.
3. The best thing about the holidays is the food.
4. The worst thing about the holidays is that they end.
This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by McGuffy’s Reader & 15andmeowing Yesterday, they asked these 4 fill in the blank questions:
1. I start to decorate for Christmas/Hanukkah _______________.
2. I prefer a _____________ Christmas tree because ____________________.
3. The best thing about the holidays is _______________.
4. The worst thing about the holidays is _______________.
Nice pictures. The blue lights set off Mr. M’s fur and Purrseidon makes an adorable elf.

I will never understand why my sisfur likes to dress up, but I’m glad that you enjoy her outfits. =^.^=

Mr. M., are you enjoying those Christmas lights? Your eyes are so big in that photo. 🙂
Purr, your red hat and scarf are adorable on you. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!

Thank you Ms. Suzanne! We are trying to get into the spirit of this season….. M is having allergy issues, so he is having difficulty with this spirt thing. >^.^<

You’re welcome, Purrseidon.
Aww poor guy. I’m sorry that Mr. M. has allergies, too. They are absolutely no fun. I hope he feels better very soon.
Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

IF he doesn’t start perking up, the staff is threatening to take him to the vet…. we aren’t due to go there until February…. I don’t like that month because it’s when we get shots. >^.^<

Awww I don’t like shots either. Hopefully, he won’t have to go to the vet early.
Have a blessed week.

Mom doesn’t seem to mind shots – she gets 3 every month for her allergies…. I’m thinking her mind doesn’t work quite right…. shots are nasty. So is the ver. >^.^<

I tolerate them when I have to, but I don’t think I will ever like them. David has been living with them for 41 years, to one degree or another, thanks to diabetes.
I understand about the vet. Some of them really do care, but like with people doctors, some are only in it for the money and have no problem with the pain they cause. I’m sure your mommy has chosen a sweet, caring vet for you kitties. 🙂
Have a blessed week.

Is there really such a thing as a sweet, caring vet and/or doctor?!? >^.^<

I don’t know, but we can hope. 🙂 I’ve had a few very caring doctors in my life, but just a very few. The doctor that delivered our first two babies was very nice. One of his practice partners, however, was a real meanie. He snatched me around, wasn’t at all gentle, and was very rude. David nearly clobbered him.
Have a blessed week. 🙂

It’s hard to believe that one of my favorite pictures of you doesn’t include your magnificent tail, Mr. M … but it’s true, I LOVE that picture of you surrounded by the Christmas lights!

Real trees do smell good, but my cats would climb all day every day.
The holidays don’t every really end, though, they just move from one to the next. Just keep celebrating until Epiphany, then you can celebrate the Carnival season until Mardi Gras, and there’s Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day and more in between until Easter. If you play the cards right, you never run out of holidays!

This is true, seems like there is something special every month. Thanksgiving seems like the best meal, but Christmas seems to be the most cheerful. >^.^<

The smell of a real tree makes Christmas feeling, do you have a spruce as we have? I have never heard spruces growing in Florida.
Kosmo,
your brother.

Kosmo, dear brofur, our Christmas trees are imported from up North. One neighbor puts Christmas lights around their palm tree and that just looks wrong. >^.^<

Good to know you have a real Christmas tree, I agree that palm thing.

Thanks for your great answers. Black Friday we always just celebrate Chloe Jo. Grizelda does not like the fuss. I like to focus on the love all during the holidays. I wish we could keep that going all year. Enjoy!

We are decorating the tree today too 🙂 Mom bought a new “skinny” tree which I do NOT approve of AT ALL! I want her to bring my tree up so i can climb in it and knock all the branches down and all the ornaments off….I may cry and crab enough that she gives in yet….

We are decorating today, too… at least the staff isn’t putting it in a cage and/or hanging it from the ceiling, which is what they did when Rom was alive…. hard to believe that Purrseidon is easier on trees than he was, but apparently this is so.
