1. The best part of where I live is that the Atlantic Ocean isn’t too far away.
2. The worst part of where I live is that I don’t get to swim in the ocean every day.
3. If I had known my sisfur had such an obsession with water, I would have thought long and hard about voting for her adoption.
4. My favourite article of cold weather clothing is my very own fur coat.
This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by McGuffy’s Reader & 15andmeowing Yesterday, they asked these 4 fill in the blank questions:
1. The best part of where I live is ________.
2. The worst part of where I live is ________.
3. If I had ________, I would ________.
4. My favourite article of cold weather clothing is ________.
Dear Mr. M., the third fill-in does not seem to be a safe comfy solution if Purr realizes your plan to take her swim in the ocean has a subplot 😆
Pawkisses!

You have a beautiful fur coat, Mr. M. You look so very soft.
Purr, it sounds like you’re in a perfect location, but a frustrating circumstance. Maybe things will change and you’ll get to go more often.
Have a blessed weekend!

Ms. Suzanne, you understand things well and it is amazing that you can see how soft my brofur is, just by looking at his photo…. Mom has a silk blouse that feels just like M’s fur. >^.^<

Thank you. 🙂 I bet that blouse is exquisite! I remember a silk ensemble that I once had, many years ago, and I loved the feel of it.

Mom only wears that blouse for very special occasions, but M wears his coat every day… I wish my fur was a fine and soft as his is. >^.^<

I’m sure yours is soft, too. He’s just fluffier. You’re both beautiful kitties. 🙂

M is a LOT softer than me… I’ve got shorter, coarser fur, which is very good for surfing. >^.^<

It sounds like Heavenly Father gave you the kind of fur that is just perfect for you. 🙂

Sometimes I wonder if he hates water so much because he looks really silly when he’s wet… I look pretty much the same, when I’m sopping. >^.^<

That could be the case. I imagine it would take him quite a while to get dry once he gets wet. You, on the other hand, can probably just shake it off and be dry very soon afterwards. 🙂
Have a blessed day.

Yes, I think that is a big part of his issues with water, though I’d never thought of that before you mentioned. it. >^.^<

Some kitties really like the water and others not so much. You both have wonderful purrsonalities.

Mr. M, your own handsome coat is the best winter wear you could ever have!

M here. I’m very pleased that you agree that my own coat is purrfect… I don’t suppose you live near Florida’s Space Coast, but if you do, you are welcome to take my sisfur to the beach. =^.^=

A friend of mine has 2 bengals – they love water, too & were quite the hazard to her fish tank, until she got a cat-proof lid… For the past couple years, we’ve been trying to decide if Purrseidon’s dark sections are the same as Hamlet’s fur, and speculating if one of her ancestors was a marbled bengal.

Yeah, there is that pesky water thing with Purr … but she leaves all the squirrels for you – so maybe it’s not so bad? Besides, variety is the spice of life and our individual differences are what make us interesting and special!

As long as she doesn’t try to push me in OR snuggle when she’s sopping, I can live with her uniqueness.

Thank you both for these fantastic answers. I am sure you would have still wanted to adopt Purrseidon despite her odd obsession 🙂 Have a great weekend! XO

I imagine you’re correct, Ms. Ellen, but it would have been nice to know that I was getting a sisfur with such odd likes… At first, I thought she fell in my accident. =^.^=

Wow! You swim in the ocean….what a tidal wave of water….I wouldn’t like that….so nobody will stop you. Also if they don’t understand that you want to go swimming….sit in the sink…they’ll get the idea.

As always, you guys did great with the answers. It seems that Clyde and Bee love water, too. The second they hear the sink, they are there! Have a great weekend. HUGS!

Ms. Ann, I am horrified to learn that this water obsession has infected Clyde and Bee, too!
As always, we liked your answers – Purr thought those chains of lakes sounded wonderful, while I agreed that tearing down native plants is a very bad thing.
