Friendly Friday Fillins

1. I am far too fond of water…. at least that’s what my brofur says.

2. To save money, I have the staff repurpose things. For instance those banana trees that got blown over by that rude storm are now turning into compost.handshake-310912__180

3. All lives matter. I’m a mostly black cat, but I don’t understand this BLM stuff at all. After all most of my furiends are various colors and I can’t understand why a group wants to make a fuss about something as shallow as one’s color.

4. Small round balls make me think of a youtube video I saw explaining how immigration and poverty affect each other… It was well done and quite fascinating. If you’re interested in this topic and have 6 minutes to admire gumballs, please click below.

This post is purrticipating in a blog hop hosted by McGuffy’s Reader & 15andmeowing Yesterday, they asked these 4 fill in the blank questions:

1. I am far too

2. To save money, I _______________.

4. _______________makes me think _______________.

    1. Yes, it is very sobering. What fascinates me is that the original version of it has been out for years – prior to when refugees became such a problem is so many countries. Thus, it is difficult for me to understand why politicians are handling that situation the way they are. I also heard – though forget where – that for the cost of taking care of one refugee, ten could be supported in their own country. Humans don”t seem to be purrticularly logical in the way they do things. =^.^=

True, all lives matter. I think that is more of a big city kind of thing. Here in small town, Gulf Coast Texas there are some that see only color. There are others who just plain don’t care about color as long as you treat them like people.

Some of them come here because if they stay in their country, they will be killed. It would be much better if we could solve that problem so then we could help them stay home, because a lot of them want to stay or go back home and cannot.

    1. I agree. I also see Trump’s perspective that some countries have been so devastated by war that individuals can’t prove who they are and/or if they are the victim or the wolf in sheep’s clothing.
When we lived in Panama, we met a guy from S. Africa (white) who apparently had murdered people and dealt drugs there, then when the police were on his trail, he escaped by stealing a boat… He seemed nice, until we got to know him better and realized he used charm to lure people close enough to use and abuse them.

    1. It would be nice if we could save everyone, everywhere, but alas it isn’t possible. I heard someone say that for what our goverment pays for one refugee, we could care for ten in their own country, so I truly don’t understand on any level why refugees come here instead of stay and improve their own land. Purrhaps we cats simply see things differently. =^.^=

Thank you for participating, great answers. I think it is cool that you are obsessed with water. And I agree with you Mr. M, color shouldn’t matter.Have a nice weekend!

  4. Purrseidon, that sounds like a good thing to do with the destroyed plants. I’m sorry the storm got them.

Mr. M., what is BLM? The only thing that comes to mind for me is Bureau of Land Management, but I’m gathering that isn’t what you’re referring to. I think, since there is so much devilment out there, we have to be careful with some colors of kitties to keep them safe from the bad guys out there. I think that all kitties are beautiful, regardless of color.

    Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

    1. Now days, BLM = black lives matter. And while I agree that they do, I don’t want to limit to that segment… as I said, ALL lives matter, even trees and things like annoying mosquitoes. =^.^=

      1. With all the flooding, standing water is going to be an issue for awhile. Most of the really bad flooding is long gone, but we got rain again and there are still pockets of standing water here and there. I’m all for more geckos. 🙂

        Have a blessed weekend.

      2. We’re getting our fair share of rain, too. I heard that last night Jupiter Beach, which is South of us, got 6″ and had standing water in the roads – dicey for morning commuters.
