Sunday Selfies

Dear Furiends,20170217_105311

Instead of the traditional Sunday Selfies, M and I decided to make todays post about our Valentine’s gifts (we made out like bandits)  The tulips belong to our staff, but I love them and think they add something to the photos.

The thing on the left is a cat massager with Mister M’s blend sprinkles  on it… it didn’t come with that blend, just some generic ‘nip … we ignored it until the staff corrected the situation. Once they added Cat-a-bliss, we were all over that massager and have not stopped.

The tall thing, in the corner, is an interactive cat feeder puzzle for me – the staff thinks having this will  stop me from hunting and ripping bags open… So far, they are correct. It is made for overweight cays to eat slower but they gave it to me for the challenge.

I even toss food to the bottom for M. Aren’t I a great sisfur?

20170217_105443The tube is a ball chase that we don’t really care for. Apparently, the staff thought we would enjoy smacking it. Not!

The mice and balls are fun to hide everywhere including outside and in mom’s bed. M also got meds to prevent his frequent UTI issues … so far, he doesn’t mind them, which is good.

(Saphera got a big rawhide bone, but she ate the whole thing, so I don’t have a photo of it.)

  1. Looks like you all had a great Valentine’s Day and you are loved very much! I got a turbo track for Bear thinking he’d love to bat the ball around … but he hasn’t touched it once … probably because he knows it would make me happy to watch him playing with it :p

  2. Oh MeOW what a great gift. Did you get da flashy ball? We only like to play with da tubes when da flashy ball is in there. We’re sendin’ purrayers fur M and those pee issues. We know how pawful they can be. Big hugs

      1. Dat’s pawful. We’ll be purrayin’. Mommy won’t even entertain da thought of a brofur cuz of those pee purroblems. She lost 2 boys and said dat was more than enuff. She luvs da little boys, but says her heart can’t take it.

      2. They are more purrone to UTI’s cuz of da shape of their urethra. And once they get their furst UTI, it never stops. They’re in fur a life time of pee issues. Cuz mommy lost 2 kitties to UTI somplications, she just couldn’t do it again.

      3. I hadn’t thought about the anatomical differences, but this makes sense… it also explains why my brofur seems to have chronic issues with this, while I have never experienced them. >^.^<

      4. Yep, da female urethra is very big in comparison, and a straight shot to da out “hole”. Boys have a kink and a turn and much more trouble. Me got a UTI when me ate da bad kibble food. Still, it wasn’t nearly as bothersome as it woulda been ifin me had been a boy. And was cured rather quickly. Mommy doesn’t allow any kibble eatin’ in our house now. Me was a bit stubborn ’bout changin’ and will balk at a meal ifin me gets a taste of da kibble. So mommy just banned all kibble and forms of dry cat food stuffs. Dat’s okay, we luv da freeze dried noms and treats and even some raw. Big hugs

      5. Yeah, Sometimes it doesn’t matter. We so hate cat dieases. Not enuff is known ’bout them and their treatments yet. Mostly they still base cat treatments on what works fur doggies. WE couldn’t be more different.

      6. Of course, we cats are superior, but it is not wise to rub dogs noses into this fact. I have noticed that in humans, the diseases associated with males get more attention than those associated with females…. Humans are inexplicable. >^.^<

  3. Hmm getting meds is the cat equivalent of peeps getting socks for birthdays, a necessary evil. MOL Lovely gifts though, you sure are lucky. I hoped for a Prince with a paw full of mice… well you can guess what I got!
