1. My favorite Christmas Song(s) is/are Rockin’ Round the Christmas Tree and White Christmas but I could do without hearing Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer ever again.

2. My most meaningful Christmas ornament/decoration is an old red satin ball, because it belonged to Mr. Rom and was one of his favorite things.footprint-1084898_960_720

      1. For the most part, I agree with you. It is way too expensive for young healthy, working folks as it is. And forget it for people in my situation

However, if he ends Medicare and Medicaid, then that will be much, much worse overall. The vulnerable populations, the elderly and the children, will be hurt and many left without medical care.

Hopefully, things are going to get much better for everyone involved.

Have a blessed evening and a very Merry Christmas!

      2. I hope that he doesn’t end either Medicare or Medicaid … as I watch him pick out his cabinet, etc. I sense that he fully intends to make every effort to fulfill his campaign promises, which is more than I would have expected from his opponent.

      3. I hope that he will. I didn’t vote for him (or her, definitely not her), but we need to all work together for the good of the country. I think she would have dragged us down even further and it would be even more horrible for the children of this country with her at the helm.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

      4. I agree with you about HRC and I certainly did not vote for her. I did vote for Trump and it was the very first time in my life that I’ve voted Republican. I am still miffed that Bernie didn’t run as an indie with Stein as his VP….

      5. I’ve never voted based on the party. I voted for Castle. He was the most closely aligned with my beliefs. Besides, it would have been cool to have a Castle in the White House. 🙂 I didn’t know about him until just a few weeks before the election, but I am glad that I learned about him, because I didn’t feel good voting for either of the big two. Merry Christmas!

      6. I hadn’t really voted by party, either. I voted for who I thought would be the best (or least destructive). Thus, I’ve voted for a lot of Independents and Democrats… when Bill Clinton ran, we were for Perot.

  1. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. That is sweet that Rom’s ball is your favorite. I love the idea of game day with puzzles and games, I wish I could get my family to join in on something lke that.

    1. Our family tends to gravitate around the dinning room table… sometimes very unexpected projects take place there. One year, my husband found a electronic gizmo (something that hooked up to the TV, like a game unit or DVD player – I never heard what it was). By the time I came in, my husband and the kids had it torn apart all over the table. They were seeing what had gone wrong with it and how it was made, etc. Ultimately, most of it got recycled one way or the other. If not in actual bins, the bits got used in other projects.

      1. Those are tasty, too. Initially, I became a housecat because I was bribed with roast chicken…. until then, I mainly lived on mice and squirrels, but after becoming a housecat, all sorts of culinary delights were discovered. =^.^=
