While my eyes were on the Stars…

Dear Furiends,

While my eyes were on the Stars, shocking things were happening on our Earth…. I discovered this because Pop’s hobby is watching earthquakes (he lived near fault lines for many years).  WELL, as you’ve probably already heard, on the News, North Korea tested a bomb that triggered a 5.3 quake! You can read about it here.

I don’t know why humans are foolish enough to use such scary technology…. Why can’t they learn to get along?!?

Mr. M   =^.^=

  1. We didn’t know you could watch an earthquake. Mommy hates them. She moved away from California cuz of them, and then last weekend, we had a 5 + pointer here in OK. MOL We wish peeps could get along too, but alas…

    Luv ya’

  2. I agree, Mr. M. This is supposed to be a civilized world. I don’t understand all the bombs and things. If humanity is so civilized, then they should be able to sit around a table and talk out the issues and come to a sensible solution for the problems. As the mother of a US Marine and a US sailor, I find this news very upsetting. 😦

    1. I forget who said this, but I love this quote: ‘Being nice to someone you dislike doesn’t mean you’re a fake. It means you’re mature enough to tolerate your dislike towards them.’ This lesson needs to be taught in schools and at homes.

    1. IMHO, he needs to ask himself why he would do such a thing. It is my opinion that if one is strong and capable, they have the luxury of appearing weak, but those who are weak seem to need to appear strong…. An action like this makes me assume that the Korean Leader feels weak and that makes him dangerous to himself and others. =^.^=

      1. This Korean leader is weak, surrounded by a plethora of courtiers who are ready to do anything to remove him. Then his population is starvingalso its population is starving and he needs “actions to distract” them (like the games of gladiators in ancient Rome). =^:^=
