Labor Day

I am joining a September Challenge and answering today’s question about my teen years, which weren’t very long ago. Here is the link if you want to check it out and/or maybe join in, too.

Today is Labor Day in the United States. How old were you when you got your first job? What was that job? Did you enjoy it?

I began learning to be a writer’s muse when I was about a month old… that is less than a year old in human years. And yes, I enjoy it. In fact, I as still doing it. Purr-a-noia was the first book I worked on and I was instrumental in adding Mischief to the story… she got an even stronger roll in The Vi-Purrs and, as long as my brofur doesn’t edit Me-YEOW! too drastically, Mischief will continue to grow in the story.Β P1100588

I need to keep my eye on M and start lobbying for editorial privileges because he thinks Mischief is a very strange kitten and keeps wanting to edit out her character traits…. I was taught that I should write what I know, so Mischief loves water sports and dreams of becoming a Purrtector – she even looks like me. Thus, the things my brofur and I disagree on in ‘real life’ seem to be what we disagree on in our work as muses, too.
