In addition to Friday Fillins, I am joining a September Challenge and today’s question is about my teen years, which weren’t that long ago. Here is the link if you want to check it out and/or maybe join in, too.
>^.^<
What is the first video game that you remember playing? Were you good at it? What game system did you play it on or was it in an arcade?
My brofur, Mr. M. doesn’t play games of any sort and claims he has never been a gamer. He says that if this is typical of the questions, he respectfully declines to participate. I like to play soccer with balls and catnip mice, but don’t play video games, either, but I shall stick with these a bit longer and hope the questions get a bit more cat-friendly. A few months ago, M had to be bribed to pawticipate in this photo:
1. My favorite way to exercise is playing in the water.
2. Something I learned last week was that my furiend, Marty is a great squirrel hunter.
Oh meow is me! Mr. M usually answers the last two questions, but after the video game/arcade one, he left, so I guess I need to try and answer them.
3. I am sentimental about …. can’t think of a thing, but he would probably say his silvervine stick.
4. Some people may find it surprising to know … I can’t think of anything to put here, either – most posts seem to revolve around my brofur and my disagreement over water, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn that I love water sports. You all know that he loves astronomy and boxes, so that shouldn’t be surprising, either.
Friendly Fill-Ins is hosted by McGufy’s Reader & 15andmeowing – on Thursday, they asked these 4 fill in the blank questions:
1. My favorite way to exercise is ____________________________.
2. Something I learned last week was _______________________.
3. I am sentimental about _______________________.
4. Some people may find it surprising to know____________________.
I love you guys…even when you cannot think of answers! XO
Thanks for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins!

I like water but not to sit in. I like watching it. Kali loves to watch the sprinkler go back and forth when mom turns it on.

Teddy and Jack like when I take a bath. After the water drains from the tub they like to slip around in the wet tub.

Thank you for the tip! Ms. Kiara sells her organic ones 2/$3.00 … I generally pick mine up from her, so there is no shipping or handling fee. I don’t know how long it would take to get here from Japan, but Ms. Kiara only lives about 4 miles away and I know she tries to be prompt sending her orders because the only time she has ever raised her voice at me was when I tried to help her pack an order she had just gotten in… she didn’t think that I should do a taste-test to make sure the blend was purrfect. In fact, she picked a different packet.
I thought she was quite rude, though she’s usually a nice person.

Dat’s pawsum. We don’t know how long da shippin’ would be, we just came across ’em one day in mommy’s emails. We get lots of emails advertisements and mommy just deleltes them. Sometimes we do like to look and see what da rest of da world is buyin’ tho’. Anyways, enjoy your sticks. It’s really nice dat you have a furiend who has nip and vine and such.

We have 2 email accounts – the one you know about for family and furiends and the other one for business… I don’t like the business one because we get lots of advertisements there… our secretary tends to mark all emails in the inbox, then go through the list to see which ones to unmark prior to deleting … literally hundreds come in every day and the majority are trying to sell something…. I would like to know what I could pawsably do with viagra?!? No amount of that can alter surgery! =^.^=

Yes, that is Ms. Kiara’s Mouse Trap game (she has lots of board games). She also has the best prizes for the winners – cat-a-bliss!!! Ms. Kiara is the only one I know who can get my tom-in-the-box brofur interested in games, but I think he is only interested in her prizes.

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins Mr. M and Purrseidon, nice answers. You are right that it is no surprise you like water 🙂 Maybe you could let your Mom answer the 19 something ones on days you can’t relate to the questions 🙂
Have a great weekend!

They are a little better suited for humans in most cases. Although a cat may be able to answer a few of them. The list of all the questions is available at https://mcclendonvilla.wordpress.com/september-19-somethin-challenge/

I remember playing a computer game called Kings Quest as a kid. It wasn’t the first one I played, but one that I remember loving. Not sure why!

Purrhaps I should download a game on the iPad … I’ve seen photos of kittens having fun with those games. >^.^<

Ms. Kiara took that photo …. if you look very closely, you will see that the prize ‘nip was in the middle of the board. Mr. M wasn’t showing a lot of interest, but Vale (neighbor) and I thought the new blend was fascinating… I think Ms. Kiara wanted the photo for some promotion thing.
