Two questions for me and two for my brofur… Me first!
1. I wish my staff would bring back my ladder…. It’s in the garage and they claim it belongs to them. 99% of the time, they are great, but that 1% can be very frustrating! >^.^<
2. An act of kindness that I do often is give my staff time and attention by spending time with them and allowing them to pet me. >^.^<
3. I still have memories from my childhood … As a feral cat, I did not collect possessions. One lovely memory was watching a cocoon become a butterfly. =^.^=
4. If I didn’t have a good internal compass, I’d be completely lost. =^.^=
This post is participating in Friendly Fill-Ins, which is hosted by McGufy’s Reader & 15andmeowing – on Thursdays, they asked these 4 fill in the blank questions:
1. I wish ________________ would bring back ____________________.
2. An act of kindness that I do often is __________________________.
3. I still have ________ from my childhood
4. If I didn’t have___________________ , I’d be completely lost.

I love these answers. I am so thankful for you all. Thank you for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins. With Summer coming to a close, I plan to get back to my usual routine. I will be going back to Mayo Clinic this Fall, so hope to get some resolution for my health issues, too. I appreciate your patience and understanding. Hugs.

Got to have that internal compass. I have often been temporarily misdirected, but never lost.

Mr. M: How awesome that you saw a cocoon open into a butterfly. The butterfly in your video is beautiful. 🙂
Purrseidon: I think it is very generous of you to give your staff attention and let them pet you. I am sure it makes them very happy. 🙂
Have a beautiful, blessed weekend!

That cocoon was amazing! =^.^=
I am glad you can appreciate my generosity – not everyone can and they don’t realize how difficult it can be to sit still.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Although I’ve gotten better over the years regarding my sense of direction, my internal compass still isn’t the greatest and I get mentally turned around easily. I’m thankful when we’re traveling in the car I can look at the rear view mirror with its compass display. Thanks for popping in for a visit today!

One of my sister’s in law has a horrible sense of direction. Years ago, she once called me because she was lost and wanted me to tell her how to get home … she had been focused on a problem and didn’t pay attention to where she was until she solved it… by that time, she’d crossed the state line (70 miles past where she should have gotten off the interstate).

You are both so very sweet. We luv to spend time with mommy. And hope we never have need of our internal compass. We’s really glad you’s not have to live in da wild and be feral anymore M. Sorry ’bout da ladder Purr, maybe you could make one of your own with some old stumps or somethin’.
Luv ya’

My ladder seems to have become an issue with the staff. Now, that it is too hot to use for their painting projects, I was silly enough to think I wouldn’t need to share. Instead, they put it ‘away’!!! I’m so glad the two of you don’t have the staff problems I have.

In my youth, I thought being a housecat was for losers … now, as a geriatric cat, I realize it is a wonderful way to retire with honor + writing novels is great fun.

I know what your brother means about being homeless. How can you ever forget what it means to be hungry and scared and on guard ALL THE TIME?!?! Not to mention wet and cold and always focused on just surviving. When all your dreams come true of a home and love and safety and all the food you can eat (at least theoretically), you appreciate it that much more because you know what it means to go without 🙂 You also start to enjoy just being a cat since you no longer have to focus on surviving. It’s pretty sweet.~Bear Cat
